Products I Regret Buying.

Hello ladies and welcome back to my blog :) Today I thought I'd write about products that I purchased that I just didn't like, that didn't work for me and that were a waste of money really. This might seem like a negative post today but I love watching bloggers talk about stuff they didn't like which could end up saving me a lot of money and whats worth the hype..

*Disclaimer: If these products worked for you and are your holy grail makeup items I am in no way bashing them or the brand they just didn't work for me and my skin type. Everyone's taste and preference in products are different so if you love them great, they just didn't work out for me.

1. Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

When anybody asks me what makeup I regret buying this is always the first thing that comes to mind. I fell into the hype and I mean there was SERIOUSSS hype around this palette every beauty blogger and their mother talked about this palette, had it and loved it. So me being me I NEEDED it like I went to Dublin just to buy this over 2 years ago when it came out. Don't get me wrong it is gorgeous packaging wise I love that its plastic not like the previous palettes. 

Its just a palette I don't ever use, I never reach for and I really don't like grey eye shadows which this palette has a lot of, all the colours blend together into a grey and there's NO black (roll-ye eye face) I always feel a palette is incomplete without a black. There is a shade called 'Black Market' but its more navy than black. It will stay in my collection as it did cost me €47 I just never use it, which is sad I wanted to love it!

2. Sleek Cream Contouring Kit

Oh I really wanted to love this, you've no idea how much I wanted to love it. There's nothing better than a good affordable cream contouring it. I went hunting for this and I finally got it. When I tried to blend it, it always went mucky and removed the foundation underneath. I tried to use this with brushes, sponges it just lifted all the foundation up all the time and always made your face look mucky. The actual creams are not creamy and pigmented. I'm so used to my SOSU palette that blending like a dream. It just does not work for me, devastated.

3. Essence Stay All Day 16 Hour Concealer

I love affordable concealers but this one just did not work for me. It applied so patchy, wouldn't blend it created lines to where it was applied and always applied so patchy. I'm not too annoyed about it as it was like 2.80 But it just wouldn't work but Essence did bring out a new concealer which is a lot better.

4. Catrice Illuminating Highlighter Pen

I cant really say much on this product as I never got to use it... It was completely either dried up or wasted but I don't know how as it was still sealed when I bought it. Once after twisting it up for about 10 minutes I got a tiny bit of product out it was all lumpy and stuck to my hand I couldn't move it around. Really disappointing as I love Catrice.

5 Inglot HD Matte Lip Tints.

I Don't really know what happened these as they apply nicely until they dry. They cracked off my lips and created that 'Butthole' effect everyone talks about. Mine also went really weird in the tubes and separated where you can see oil in them after a few weeks of owning them. Don't get me wrong I love Inglot products so much but these lip tints just would not work for me and I own two different shades.
